Master-Disciple

A silent, discreet sound is heard from Nickalen’s hammock. Azur brings his ear closer to the source of the sound to perceive it better. He hears something similar to his knowing but does not quite recognize it. As his full attention gets more align towards his master, the boy unravels the MYSTERY SOUND. His master snores.

Azur: Damn it. He is asleep…

The WhiteCircle takes into consideration that he must go to sleep as well. The entire anxiety of the boy has gone to rest. Azur is calm. He sees his platypus peacefully sleeping. He tenderly caresses Planton. He assures to not wake him. The snoring indifference of his master reminds the boy of the importance of the moment and that the task of the Gods is not of his concern!

The boy closes his eyes and slows the rhythm of his breathing. Azur goes to sleep.

“Good night, kid” – Nickalen says in his thought.

The “snore effect” worked, and Azur’s wonder came to end. Now, the GreenCircle can stop pretending and go to sleep as well!

Nickalen rests, knowing that his little friends and himself are safe!
